Overview
Prescott Cancer Specialists is expanding its multidisciplinary oncology services and is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing team in Prescott, Arizona.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys longitudinal patient relationships and wants to play a meaningful role in delivering high-quality oncology care in a community setting. The position combines a primary focus on cancer diagnosis, continuity of care, high-risk surveillance, and survivorship care with support for oncology on-treatment visits and follow-ups.
You will work closely with our physicians and clinical team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Prescott Cancer Specialists is a locally physician owned and operated practice. The patient experience is at the core of our mission and we aim to provide high quality care to the community in a comfortable setting.
Duties
- Manage a continuity panel of patients across the cancer care continuum, including post-treatment follow-up, high-risk surveillance, and long-term survivorship
- Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop individualized care and surveillance plans
- Support oncology services through weekly on-treatment visits and routine follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, the nurse navigator, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, seamless patient care
- Provide patient education and counseling on treatment, risk reduction, and survivorship
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and DEA regulations.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation, order entry, and medical records management.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
Skills
- Required:
- Current Arizona NP or PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- National certification and Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited program
- Clinical experience in breast/prostate health, oncology, or a related ambulatory specialty
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-education skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a surgery, oncology, radiation or multidisciplinary cancer center setting
- Familiarity with high-risk cancer management, genetic risk assessment, or survivorship care
- National certification and Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited program
- Clinical experience in breast health, oncology, or a related ambulatory specialty
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-education skills

Pay: $120,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
