Full-Time – 35 hrs/wk: Monday – Friday; 8:30A – 4:30P

Salary:
$45/hr

PT Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required.
- New York State License as a Physical Therapist required.
- Experience working with developmental disability population preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and re-evaluations as scheduled or assigned.
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and re-evaluations as scheduled or assigned.
- Provide recommended clinical services to participants as assigned.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams.
- Make appropriate referrals to other departments or services when indicated.
- Act as a resource to participants and families in regard to clinical programs by encouraging their participation in the therapeutic process through shared decision making and training.
- Train agency personnel in therapeutic carry-over activities and safety practices related to the therapeutic process.
- Maintain adequate participant records.
- Prepare required reports within the appropriate time frame
- Participate in agency opportunities for professional growth.
Physical Demands: A physical therapist must have sufficient strength, balance and agility, to perform any necessary treatments, including lifting (we perform team lifts with two people or use the Hoyer/Invacare lift when needed).
