Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide support and assistance to adults with disabilities in their Adult Family Home. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by monitoring their physical and emotional health.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
Collaborate with Residential Manager to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
Previous experience in a care giving role, such as in group homes or assisted living settings, is preferred. However, we do provide training as well.
Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental challenges is highly desirable.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is beneficial.
Cooking skills are a plus for meal preparation tasks.
