We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative & Development Coordinator to support the operational and growth efforts of our organization. This part-time, contract-based role is ideal for someone passionate about social impact, community engagement, and nonprofit development. This role involves administrative tasks, fundraising efforts, and building meaningful relationships with donors, community leaders, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Maintain schedules, emails, and communications for the organization

Maintain organized records, databases, and donor information

Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas and follow-ups

Track expenses and support budget management

Community Engagement & Partnerships:

Help foster connections with local businesses, community organizations, and potential partners

Represent Eye of An Immigrant at networking events and community meetings

Assist in planning events that align with the organization’s mission and fundraising goals.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Experience in nonprofit administration, fundraising, or development

Strong organizational and project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

What Success Looks Like:

Within One Month, You’ll Be Able To:

Familiarize yourself with Eye of An Immigrant’s mission, values, and key initiatives.

Organize and streamline administrative systems, including email management, scheduling, and donor databases.

Assist in preparing for and attending your first networking event or community meeting.

Begin tracking expenses and supporting budget management with minimal supervision.

Establish relationships with key team members and understand ongoing projects.

Within Three Months, You’ll Be Able To:

Independently manage scheduling, donor records, and organizational communications.

Take ownership of meeting preparation, follow-ups, and tracking key action items.

Actively contribute to community engagement by representing the organization at events.

Play a key role in coordinating at least one fundraising or networking event.

Identify and establish connections with potential donors, sponsors, or partners.

Within Six Months, You Will Have Accomplished:

Streamlined administrative processes, ensuring efficient record-keeping and communication.

Strengthened and expanded the organization’s community and donor relationships.

Successfully supported the execution of events aligned with fundraising and partnership goals.

Contributed to measurable growth in fundraising efforts and donor engagement.

Provided valuable insights and recommendations for future development efforts.
