Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Jobs in Crestview, FL at Shields Foundation

Our agency provides services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including: Resident Services, Day Services, and Community Care. The caregivers in our community care offices offer experienced, dependable and compassionate care to give you tender care and professional assistance, which can help make life easier and promote independence. Families can have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are cared for.
Shields Foundation is seeking positive, reliable, and flexible individuals to serve as one on one support staff for adults with developmental disabilities in our supported community connections day program. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required. Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support incoming visitors.
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects.
Expectations:
Ability to pass background check.
Provide supervision for clients while out in the community and completing activities.
Model appropriate behavior and assist with task completion as necessary.
Willingness to complete required trainings.
First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
QMAP Certification is a plus!
