WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Administrative Assistant, Membership Accounts, supports the Managing Director, Member Outreach & Systems, and the Senior Manager, Membership Accounts in the Membership & Industry Relations department. You will process membership applications, handle inquiries and phone calls, ensure data accuracy, prepare reports, provide administrative support, and collaborate with other departments to achieve objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide customer service and technical support to all members, non-members, and staff via phone and email, maintaining logs and collaborating with additional customer service support.
Review and process new membership applications, corresponding and following up with applicants to help collect supporting information to meet membership requirements.
Assist with processing renewals, refunds, credit memos, and any system related functions as needed.
Maintain data integrity by updating and verifying member information.
Support the department with general office work including managing departmental files, ordering and maintaining office supply accounts, and facilitating the flow of internal and external information through the office.
Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Senior Manager as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor
‘s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
2+ years of executive level administrative experience. Experience with non-profit and/or membership data preferred.
Customer service experience with a desire to listen compassionately and solve problems.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with information systems and Microsoft databases.
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data with a proven level of discretion.
Exceptional communication skills. Spanish proficiency a plus.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The starting rate for this position is $19.52 to $21.18 per hour , benchmarked against industry standards. Rates for positions required to be in specific geographic locations reflect the corresponding labor market.
The actual offer extended will depend on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and the role’s requirements and will include our comprehensive benefits package (with medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k match, generous paid time off, and more).
