We are currently seeking a talented full-time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team.
The Administrative Assistant – Care Coordination provides quality, comprehensive, and timely assistance to the care management teams with various delegated tasks including, but not limited to, assisting with scheduling, coordinating team meetings, and communicating with team members to improve patient care and efficiency of workflow.
Compensation
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
- This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation.
- Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Responsibilities
- Perform reports and audits as directed by supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, care managers, therapists, rehab techs, other team members, and discharged patients/families.
- Complete rounding on patients to gauge discharge readiness and patient experience.
- Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks such as copying, emailing and interoffice mailings, etc.
- Coordinate meeting agendas and takes minutes.
- Collaborate with care managers, physicians, and or unit secretaries to assist in scheduling patient appointments.
- Ensure the supervisor is notified of potential adverse situations and/or customer service issues. Adjust communication timeliness according to urgency.
- Use appropriate communication vehicle (e.g. verbal, memo, email).
- Utilize feedback from a variety of sources (supervisor, therapists, and other departments) to increase quality of performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Intermediate to proficient computer and typing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Medical terminology or healthcare experience preferred.
Education/Certifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Business school or equivalent experience strongly preferred. College degree in related field preferred.
