I’m looking for an administrative assistant! Are you super organized but also laid back? Do you love a good spreadsheet and enjoy making sure all the moving parts of a project go smoothly? Do you have amazing project management and research skills and feel passionate about women’s health?Â
HealthyWomen is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating women about health topics so they can make informed decisions about their healthcare. We are a fast-paced organization, seeking a highly organized administrative assistant to support the editorial department in producing a high volume of high-quality content. Key aspects of the role are finding subjects and sources for stories as well as helping keep the editorial department organized.Â

Responsibilities
·      Provide administrative support for the editorial department and help the editorial director manage the publication process, from assigning stories through publication
·      Use the internet and social media to find sources and subjects for storiesÂ
·      Organize and update multiple content calendars
·      Create and maintain detailed spreadsheetsÂ
·      Provide polite and professional communication
·      Keep track of freelancer due dates and assignments
·      Create briefs and filing documents for new programs
·      Liaise with freelancers and sources
·      Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
·      Keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
·      Strong internet research skillsÂ
·      Superb time-management and organizational skills
·      An inquisitive mind and a solution-oriented personality
·      Open to feedback
·      Able to meet strict daily and weekly deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
·      Proficient in Google Suites, including Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs and Slides
·      Previous administrative experience in a professional office is a plus
·      Healthy sense of humor
