Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
Company/Overview: Our client, a nonprofit organization fighting against hygiene poverty in Colorado, is seeking an Administrative and Program Coordinator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant and President, this role will support the organization’s programming initiatives and serve as the welcoming face for volunteers. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive, friendly team player who’s passionate about community engagement. This role’s contributions will be essential in driving our client’s programs and core values forward. Must be comfortable wearing a mask in the office environment as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Reception & Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for phone calls and email
Greet and welcome volunteers
Orientate volunteers and answer any immediate questions
Assist with volunteer check-ins and maintain accurate attendance records
Front Desk Operations
Answer incoming phone calls
Direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
Manage email and in-person communications
Keep the common areas organized and stocked with office supplies and informational materials
Program Support
Provide program support, including scheduling, logistics, data entry, filing, materials assembly, and other general administrative tasks
Coordinate with team members to ensure program materials and resources are prepared and available
Event Participation & Coordination
Join team events as needed, supporting event setup, execution, and breakdown
Represent the organization at external events, maintaining a professional image
Assist with event coordination, including registration, guest assistance, and on-site troubleshooting
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
2+ years of front desk/administrative experience
Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service focused
Strong problem-solving skills
Team oriented
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
