Responsibilities:
Process payment receipts and bank deposits in a timely and accurate manner
Assist with Accounts Payable by reviewing invoices and obtaining proper approvals before processing payments
Reconcile company Direct Bill commission statements to ensure accurate payments are received
Assist clients with direct bill payment questions
Process payments to insurance carriers through account current statements
Other duties as assigned by the Controller to support the accounting team and ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting assistant experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders
Strong numeracy and analytical skills to accurately record financial transactions and reconcile accounts
Good problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Highly organized and detail-oriented to maintain accurate financial records and files
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Benefits
Salary: $60,000-$65,000 annually
